New Feature
New performance review tracking view: A new page gives managers better visibility to track their employees’ performance reviews (see The Evaluation Monitoring Page).
Improvements
Folks HRIS
- Navigate to a profile from side panels: An employee’s name is now clickable in all side panels and leads directly to their profile.
- Deleting a specific chair in organizational structures: It is now possible to delete the chair of your choice, rather than only the last one created.
- Corporate email validation during self-onboarding: When the corporate address is identical to the personal address, both are now validated when completing the self-onboarding form.
Folks Payroll
- New payroll permission: There is a new View employees’ pay stubs and tax slips permission available under the Information Visibility section in user permissions. It provides access to pay statements and tax slips in profiles (Documents tab).
Fixes
Folks HRIS
-
Employee profile:
- A red error message was displayed without reason when creating or modifying an employee profile, even though the save was successful.
- An administrator could not see the gear icon in their own employee profile linked to their user.
- File names continuously shaking in the profile’s document list and in the onboarding tasks panel when the Windows display or browser zoom was set to 125%.
- Self-onboarding: An error occurred when saving the employee profile during self-onboarding.
- Vacation: An approved leave did not appear in the HR dashboard calendar.
- Absences: The request window could no longer be closed in some cases, leaving the user stuck.
-
Onboarding and offboarding:
- The seniority calculation was inconsistent and the corporate history was offset.
- The seniority displayed in the profile did not match the one on the offboarding page. The two values are now synchronized.
- A company administrator could not trigger a process on their own employee profile.
- Adding a document whose name contained an apostrophe inserted a backslash into the name.
- A task was displayed as “Overdue” with an invalid due date when the hire date or end date was not provided.
- A “Process triggered” confirmation was incorrectly displayed even though the offboarding had not been activated.
- The disabled “Add a task” button did not display a tooltip explaining why it was disabled when mixed types were selected.
- When selecting multiple tasks, the Delete button only appeared starting with two items, and the counter remained at zero.
- Company: It was impossible to add a supervisor to an organizational structure (department).
- Roles and permissions: The Employee History page was displayed even for a user without the “Personal History” or “Corporate History” permission. Access is now correctly denied again. No data was exposed.
- Notifications: An inactive employee received email notifications about changes to employees even though they were not configured in notification management.
- Stability and performance: A series of fixes improves the application’s overall stability: eliminating occasional crashes in performance reviews, the calendar, documents, and the home page; better handling of network errors during navigation and authentication; and lighter loading of the review list.
Featured Features ✨
Do you use the performance review module? Several improvements related to process configuration have been introduced over the past few months.
- Automatically carry forward supervisors’ objectives: When the option is enabled, objectives created by the supervisor will be carried forward to the next occurrence. In the review completion form, a button also lets you carry forward objectives manually and reuse previous objectives established by supervisors. Objectives can be rearranged, modified, and deleted when configuring the process.
- Toolbox visibility: The toolbox can be shared with everyone or only with the review’s evaluator by the supervisor. It will therefore not be shared with the employee(s) being evaluated.
- Automatically integrate new organizational structures: When creating a process, with the Assign to a defined structure in the organization option, a new Apply to the process option ensures that all future job titles that are created or deleted are taken into account for future reviews.
Legacy ATS Decommissioning
For the past two years, all our recruiting development has gone into the new Folks ATS. The Legacy ATS no longer receives new features. Rather than maintaining two platforms in parallel, we are bringing everyone onto the one that continues to evolve.
We are entering the final phase of the voluntary transition, ahead of the automatic redirect planned for December 31, 2026.
You do not need to complete a migration procedure. Contact us to schedule a meeting. Our team will import your candidates into Folks ATS.
For more information, see Folks ATS Transition.
