1. The results of the severity rate allow:

• Gain insight into serious accidents.
• Validate if employees are exposed to a high risk of accident within your company.

2. The calculation of the severity rate is as follows: The number of days lost in the year in accidents divided by the number of hours worked in the month multiplied by 1000.

3. You can view the total for each month by placing your cursor over the desired month.
