1. The absenteeism rate shows the overall trend of absences per month in your company.

2. The calculation of the absenteeism rate is as follows: The number of hours absent divided by the number of hours worked during the period multiplied by 100.

3. The absenteeism rate therefore represents a percentage of hours worked in the period that were spent absent rather than being productive at work.

4. You can view the total for each month by placing your cursor over the desired month.
